About Fletcher Daniel
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Probably strapping my amplifier to my bike and slinging my Epiphone Les Paul over my back and riding to my friend's house. I did this in March, in Buffalo where I grew up so, it was about 37 degrees [Fahrenheit] with a rain snow mix. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Dylan, Highway 61 Revisited Kansas, Leftoverture (Expanded Edition) Rush, Fly By Night My big thing, when I am listening to music passively is to absorb not only what the songwriter was doing, but to also get in the shoes of the producer. That late 60s, early 70s rock sound is what I am chasing right now so these albums are my go-to's. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “It's All to the Queen's Dismay” "It's All to the Queen's Dismay" was really an integral point in my growth as a lyricist. I had been wanting to write more poetic songs with a classic rock style, similar to Dylan did with "Blonde on Blonde" and the studio helped me achieve that What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Probably, the day I got signed to my label Migrant Records in Knoxville, TN. I am still a small artist so for that crew to take me onto their roster, with open arms I might add, was amazing for me! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There is a lot left, I mean we are just getting started. The goal I have is to sell out Massey Hall in Toronto, and Radio City Music Hall in New York City. It is something a lot of folk and folk-rock groups do a lot and I think it would be amazing!
