In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was four, I wanted to play piano, but the school said my hands were too small. I was sad but understood. The next morning I showed my mom my hand and asked, “Is it big enough now?” She convinced the teacher to take me, and that’s how it began. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bokanté, Strange Circles Esperanza Spalding, Esperanza Miguel Zenón, Alma Adentro - The Puerto Rican Songbook Three albums shaped us: Esperanza sparked Jess’s love for Brazilian rhythms, Strange Circles inspired our lush blend of synths and African percussion, and Alma Adentro showed us how to honor tradition while shaping a modern voice. Henrique Eisenmann)” Our first Apple Music release is a special introduction to our sound, blending jazz, Brazilian, R&B, and rock. It honors traditional Brazilian rhythms, reflects today’s challenges, and features incredible musicians who helped bring it to life. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2025 we got to play the Charles River Festival with the large ensemble version of our band (10 members instead of the usual 5!) Our album Encontro is highly layered and orchestrated so it was super exciting to recreate some of those textures live! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? May 2026 marks the release of our debut album, Encontro and this is just the beginning! We’d love to travel the world with this music alongside our favorite bands and inspirations such as Willow, Bokanté and Esperanza Spalding
