In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Early in my career I got to see Maureen McGovern's club act and I was blown away. Her phrasing, tone, choice of material-flawless! I was so blown away that I bought tickets for all of the remaining shows in the run and came every night to worship. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Anthony Strong, Easy Sailing Laufey, Bewitched Tony DeSare, Song Diaries Volume 2 Wow, this changes all the time, but right now I'm inspired by singers who are dedicated to preserving and promoting The Great American Songbook, classic AND modern. Tell us why you chose this song. “Christmas in San Francisco” This is the song that put me on the map. I'm so grateful to 96.5 KOIT-FM radio in San Francisco for first putting it on the air, and continuing to play it every holiday season. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I'd have to say it was opening for the legendary Eartha Kitt! She was so kind and gracious, and gave me great advice for how to give your all to an audience. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I’m marking the 20th anniversary of my debut albums with newly re-imagined editions and previously unreleased recordings. It feels meaningful to revisit where my recording career began and to share that chapter with fresh perspective.
