In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of the first musical recollections I can call to mind is listening to "Backseat Freestyle" and "m.A.A.d city" by Kendrick Lamar with my older brother. These were some of the first songs that made me fall in love with rap music early on in life. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? David Ruffin, My Whole World Ended Marvin Gaye, What's Going On Remastered Mustafa, Dunya These works helped to shape who I am artistically. While I have a broad range of musical influences, these albums are the ones I constantly return to for inspiration, as they're packed with stellar songwriting that I try to incorporate into my work. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would have to say embarking on a worldwide tour and winning the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. I would also add having a statue erected of me back in my hometown of Macon, Georgia, just like the legendary Otis Redding, another Macon native.
