Viande

Viande are a black metal and eerie death metal quartet from the region of Chambéry, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in southwestern France, nestled in a valley between large mountain ranges in the heart of the Alps. Founded in 2013, their sound weds classic, buzzing black metal to doom progressions and blackened death metal. Following lineup changes after two EPs, they issued the long player L'Abime Dévore les Ames in 2022, and the sophomore outing Monument Aux Morts in 2026.
