In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When Hortaleza started in music it was in 2016, under the name "Krema". At that time, far from dominating production, the music was based on mixtures of samples and experimentation. This is how his first mixtape "Melodies of a Psychopath" was born. Björk, Drawing Restraint 9 Crystal Castles, Crystal Castles Machine Girl, Wlfgrl These three albums were fundamental to creating Hortaleza's aesthetic. Tell us why you chose this song. “Marie Kondo” What makes "Marie Kondo" special is its harshness, the shock of reality it conveys, and how it represents the essence of the duo through the expression of suffering. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career was to perform with Corta Cruz Pedrusca in Aldea del Fresno. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to produce an ambient-drone album, that would be so nice.
