In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Heldtight formed as a small two-piece DIY project. What started as just wanting to play a few shows in our hometown ended up growing into way more. Bringing the scene together and sticking to our DIY roots make up the spirit and soul of the band. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Backtrack, Darker Half He Is Legend, Suck Out the Posion Trapped Under Ice, Secrets of the World All very solid and influential albums for us. Very relatable. Takes us back to a time when discovering heavier music still felt new and fresh. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Punching Glass” It was written with mental health on our minds. In a time where the odds are stacked against you, you are often your own worst enemy. You might not like who's looking back at you in the mirror, but it's your job to find the strength to change. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Every run, show, and tour will forever hold a special place close to our hearts. It's the love for our friends and the scene that drives us. Bringing people together is what keeps us going back for more. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Just to keep the wheels turning and pushing ourselves past our limits. What we look forward to is just the love of making music, meeting new faces, and making new memories. That's all we really need to put the gas in our tanks.
