Coffin Feeder

Belgium's Coffin Feeder combines the unrelenting brutality of deathcore with lyrics rooted in the raw, visceral energy and gritty imagery of vintage horror and action movies. The group was founded in 2021 during the COVID-19 lockdown as a creative outlet for Aborted vocalist Sven de Caluwé, who assembled a powerhouse lineup of Belgian extreme metal veterans to bake what he jokingly called "death metal banana bread." It didn't take long for the seasoned collective to gel, with the serial killer-themed EP Stereo Homicide and like-minded Over the Top appearing in 2022. Three years later, Coffin Feeder unleashed their full-length debut, Big Trouble -- a high-octane homage to ’80s action classics like Predator, Commando, and, of course, Big Trouble in Little China.
