Swansea Sound

Made up of members of legendary bands like Talulah Gosh, Heavenly, and the Pooh Sticks, Swansea Sound are an indie pop lover's delight. Playing short, snappy songs that have the melodic sweetness of vintage indie and the prickly attitude of punk, the group take on fascism, consumerism, major-label rock, and streaming music sites while also making some time for the occasional lopsided love song. After a series of ear catching singles, they issued a pair of records that solidified (2021's Live at the Rum Puncheon) and strengthened (2023's Twentieth Century) their at once nostalgic and bang up to date sound.
