In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My mom played the piano and at age 5 I really wanted to play. I eventually started lessons with a local teacher. In 4th grade a strings teacher came to my class to demo instruments, and I loved the low notes of the cello. The rest is history! Tell us why you chose this song. “If Only We Had Met” I love lyrical pieces in minor, and I am love low notes on the cello! My pianist partner, Greg Maroney, sent me a demo recording of "If Only We Had Met", and it started in minor with a low sustained D on the cello. I was hooked!
