In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I discovered Bob Marley’s Legend album when I was 15, and it completely blew my mind - the sound of the band and the message of the songs. From that moment on, I wanted to learn how to play the drums. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Marley & The Wailers, Survival (2013 Remaster) Bonus Track Version Justin Hinds & The Dominoes, Travel With Love Peter Tosh, Equal Rights Survival is one of the greatest Reggae albums of all time. Great quality songs, amazing production. The conscious message by Tosh’s Equal Rights album has me completely captivated and Travel With Love blew my mind with Carlton Barrett’s drumming Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Forever Loving Jah (feat. Aston Barrett Jr, Young Israelites & Dasplanta)” I chose this song because I had the chance to collaborate with Aston Barrett Jr. on Forever Loving Jah, one of his uncle Carlton Barrett’s favorite tracks, who has been one of my biggest musical influences. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Touring with The Impressions, Curtis Mayfield’s band and a huge influence on Jamaican music, was a life-changing experience. Being part of that legacy made every concert truly unforgettable. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? As an artist, what’s left on my bucket list is to share my music and its message with as many people as possible, reaching hearts and inspiring others through my sound.
