In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I still remember being a little girl in Eritrea. My parents loved South Sudanese music, and we’d gather in the living room while they played old songs. I’d hum along, mimicking the melodies—those moments sparked my dream of becoming an artist.
