In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a kid, I had a Walkman. A guy in our building gave me a copied cassette, and I played it on repeat. Nearly a decade later, I realized I’d been listening to Dilla, Pete Rock, and more. One of my favorite memories. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kazi, Madlib, Blackmarket Seminar Mobb Deep, The Infamous Quasimoto, The Unseen These albums perfectly capture my taste in hip-hop—the sound, the lyrics, and the overall vibe. Timeless classics. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Take Your Time” I’ve made better tracks, but this groove just hits the spot. When I created this beat, it was pure gut feeling and intuition. It flows exactly how I want every piece of music to sound. This is one of my personal favourites. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I remember a guy coming up to me after a show, saying he’d never heard my music before, but it somehow brought back his childhood. He’s still one of my biggest fans to this day. I truly appreciate that fella! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I’d love to perform in front of 500+ people who came just to see me. But first, I want to learn guitar or piano so I can make my live shows more engaging and take my music to the next level.
