ANOHNI, Hopelessness Björk, Medúlla SOPHIE, OIL OF EVERY PEARL'S UN-INSIDES All three of these albums are doing extraordinary and unorthodox things with sound. Each so singular in terms of voice and production, but managing to hit some colossal universal truths. And they make me want to dance and cry at the same time. Brian Eno & Homeboy Sandman)” I see this song as a rare convergence of ideas and people. Collaborating with Brian Eno and Homeboy Sandman was a dream, and together with Angus' immaculate production we've made a song that speaks to the current moment with a world in turmoil. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being guest of honour Splore Festival in New Zealand. I was ritualistically threatened by a member of the Ngaati Whanaunga and Ngāti Paoa tribes who carried a big wooden spear. The feather which was the offering in this ceremony hangs on my wall.
