About Joey Adams

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Probably getting up on stage in the middle of church and singing "Long Black Train" by Josh Turner. The memory is vague but still there. My mom said something compelled me to want to sing so bad that day. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Eric Church, Chief Kenny Chesney, Greatest Hits II Tyler Childers, Purgatory Each of these albums hold a place in my heart and reflect on a different time of my life. Purgatory reflects my taste and how I perceive music now. Chief, my wilder teenage years. And Greatest Hits brings me back to being a kid with my brother. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “My Home” I remember writing this song when it had started to get really cold out in West Virginia. My apartment refused to get warm and I constantly thought of my girlfriend who at the time I was missing. Thinking of how warm I feel when she is there with me. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The night we played a show in Athens, Ohio at a dive bar. We played an amazing show and had a ton of people singing and dancing. The bouncer got caught skimming money from the cover at the door and we wanted to fight. Safe to say we didn't go back. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Oh boy, there's too much left. Man, we ain't even started...
