In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Me and my guy Brixbeat would sneak off with the school’s keyboard and hide in empty classrooms . I was passionate about it that I’d end up sleeping in class. One time, my teacher caught me sleeping and made me kneel for hours as punishment. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? E.L., The B.A.R 2 (Mixtape) Travis Scott, ASTROWORLD Wavydenkyi, Flawless Entrant ‘Astro World’ by Travis Scott, ‘Bar II’ of the Bar series by EL, and ‘Flawless Entrant’ inspired me a lot . ‘Astro World’ was a whole different experience; it made me feel like I was dreaming. Tell us why you chose this song. “Sapatey” I call my supporters Sapatey because they’re the ones who’ve been with me from the beginning, . It’s got a vibe that connects to the grind and the hustle, and whenever I perform it, I feel that energy from my supporters. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? it was the video shoot for my song ‘Sansani.’ I used to avoid traveling, but that shoot in Cape Coast broke that spell. It was my first time really stepping out of my comfort zone, and it opened so many doors for me afterward. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? there’s always more to achieve and experience. One of the biggest things left on my bucket list is to take my music global. There’s so much more to explore regarding sound, creativity, and influence, so I feel like my journey is just getting started.
