Puerto Rican rapper Yovngchimi fuses Latin trap and drill, delivering determined yet cool-headed rhymes about his street experiences. He quickly became a rising force in the Latin rap scene with his 2021 debut single, "Glizzy Walk," and its sequels, and soon worked with other major figures like Ñengo Flow, Anuel AA, and Ozuna. 2023 saw the release of the mixtape Gangsta Grillz: Mvrda Gvng, the Bad Bunny collaboration "Mercedes Carota," and the full-length WLGS.
