In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I learned to play piano on my neighbor's upright. As a kid, I used to pet-sit for this neighbor of ours who had a deaf cat. He would lounge on top of the piano while I practiced, seemingly comforted by the vibrations from the keys within.
