About Rajesh Tyagi

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories was listening to songs and bhajans with family, especially Binaca Geetmala with Ameen Sayani. I was drawn not only to melodies, but also to the poetry of lyricists like Sahir, Shailendra, and Anand Bakshi. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Naushad, Mughal-E-Azam (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) S.D. Burman, Guide (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) S.D. Burman, Pyaasa (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Mughal-E-Azam for its timeless poetry and Naushad's soulful compositions, Pyaasa for Sahir's philosophical depth and S.D. Burman's music, and Guide for its beautiful storytelling, melodies, and emotional richness. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Saanson Ki Siskiyaan” It is close to my heart as it speaks for a cause larger than ourselves. It is a heartfelt environmental reflection. Beneath its haunting reminders of human missteps, it still carries hope that healing is possible if we choose to correct our course. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? For nearly 30 years, my poetry lived quietly in notebooks and later in PowerPoint files. In 2025, turning those thoughts into complete songs with music and visual storytelling, and sharing them with the world, became deeply fulfilling. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I am simply looking for creative satisfaction. Perhaps someday, somewhere, someone I do not know will celebrate a moment in life or find comfort in my lyrics. If a song quietly becomes part of someone's life, that would feel special.
