In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 13 years old, I remember writing raps to the Soundtrack of Sonic CD. In my mind, I was making something for my father to listen to. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Busta Rhymes, Genesis Nas, Stillmatic Tech N9ne, K.O.D. Stillmatic because to me it was the complete package; the first album I listened to from front to back. K.O.D. because it spoke to my heart with substance that reached all corners of my lived experiences. Genesis made me remember the technical craft. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I performed Good Times at a place called COATI in Colorado Springs, CO. A lady came up to me and said the entire song was so good that she let her son swear during the chorus. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to perform overseas in Japan, elevate my Producer to worldwide acclaim, and pass my pedigree on to my son. He also wants to be an artist like his dad someday.
