In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories was watching my dad play guitar while my mom sang at family gatherings. I grew up listening to The Cure, new wave, and 80s–90s rock. I picked up my first guitar at 11 and knew music was my path. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Hillsong UNITED, Zion (Deluxe Edition) The Cure, The Cure: Greatest Hits The Midnight, Endless Summer Zion reminds me of meeting my wife and my first spiritual steps. The Cure: Greatest Hits feels like home and nostalgia. Endless Summer inspired me with its experimental sound and emotion. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lonely Fox” Lonely Fox is special to me because it carries the emotions of my childhood and who I was at 19 y/o. The sleepy lo-fi sound and melody always take me back. This song opened many doors for me, and I hope Apple Music continues discovering my music.
