About Roberta Faceplant
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember family jams around the campfire singing along to Yellow Submarine and Magic Bus. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Mannequin P***y, I Got Heaven Pink Floyd, Animals Sierra Ferrell, Trail Of Flowers A little bit country, a little bit rock n' roll. I think punk rock and Americana music share many similarities and both hold a strong influence over me and the band. The true spirit of country OR punk music is just three chords and the truth. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Sunbeams” This song is very special to me because I wrote it in memory of my sweet cousin Sean Webb who was lost way too young and way too soon. We don't perform this out much because it's too emotional, but I'm glad I recorded and released it into the ether. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening for Hannah Juanita and Mose Wilson at Baby's First Rodeo here in Philadelphia. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Playing Red Rocks, opening for Grace Potter, or making it so big that Robert Plant has to sue us.
