About MC Meno K

Kauan Soares Terra, known as MC Meno K, is a Brazilian rapper and singer from Porto Alegre in Rio Grande do Sul. Primarily linked to baile funk -- a Brazilian, hip-hop-influenced genre -- he later incorporated pop and brega into his sound. He broke through in 2021 at age 13 with "Camisa do Grêmio," a tribute to his hometown soccer team that became a viral hit and was reworked as "Camisa do Flamengo." Both versions appeared on his debut EP Porta Voz da Favelinha. That same year, he released Frente do Sul, a brief seven-track album. His early momentum slowed after a 2022 incident in which he survived being shot multiple times, but he continued releasing singles focused on soccer and favela life. In 2025, Meno staged a comeback after signing with Bololô Records and appearing on DJ Japa NK's hit "Posso Até Não Te Dar Flores." He followed with successful collaborations including "Jetski," "Diário de um Cafajeste," and "Amo Minha Favela."
