About Luys Bien

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a kid, I remember building myself a wooden stage behind our home, where I would spend hours, under the light of the moon and stars, singing concerts along with my brothers and cousins. On rainy days, we improvised music in the kitchen with Dad. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Anthony Santos, La Chupadera Fernando Villalona, Soy un Hombre Feliz Gustavo Dudamel, Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela, Beethoven: Symphony No. 9 My earliest memory of listening music comes with this La Chupadera, which transformed bachata forever. Soy un Hombre Feliz gave me hope about the idol of my region, Fernando Villalona. Beethoven's is ultimate music for me and I love Dudamel's energy. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Latidos de Tambor” I love this song because it embraces love as the highest human aspiration and it invites us to pursue love. With this song, I had the blessing to collaborate with the legendary Dominican musician, arranger, producer, pianist and singer Ramón Orlando. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Recording and releasing Latidos de Tambor with legendary Ramón Orlando. I couldn't believe that such great artist would collaborate with an unknown emerging artist. He told me that Johnny Ventura supported him and his dad Cuco Valoy with La Tribu. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I plan to record, release, and present in a concert my official debut album/EP of songs written by my brother, poet Cristino Alberto Gomez Luciano. Also, I want to film the musical video for my merengue Latidos de Tambor together with Ramon Orlando.
