Rachel Love

Rachel Love is the name guitarist/cellist/vocalist Rachel Bor uses when making lushly appointed indie pop that balances electronic sounds and acoustic instruments, while delving tenderly into love and loss. She got her start as a member of 1970s punk-pop legends Dolly Mixture, then spent years alternating between raising a family and making music. She adopted the Rachel Love name in the early 2000s and released Picture in Mind, then Lyra, in 2021 and 2022 respectively. The former is a shimmering slice of retro-futuristic indie pop, the latter is a devastatingly sad album colored by the passing of her husband and collaborator.
