Joaquina

Joaquina is a Miami-based singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Her music crosses anthemic mainstream pop and folk with 21st century Latin pop, all delivered in Spanish. Her singing voice comprises a very slight alto and a powerful, almost warbling soprano falsetto. At 16, she self-released a single and homemade video for "Primer Amor." It led to a deal with Universal Latino. She released a handful of singles like 2022's "Freno" and the charting "Rabia." 2023's Los Mejores Anos EP earned her an invite to that year's Latin Grammys, where she took home the award for Best New Artist. 2025's al romper la burbuja placed inside the Top 200 and was selected by the industry as one of the Top Latin Albums of 2025. In January 2026 she re-released the set as al romper la burbuja 2, with a bonus disc containing five singles including "Amarillo."
