Al Xapo

South African producer Al Xapo rose to prominence during the global Amapiano boom of the early 2020s. After starting as a teenage DJ and beatmaker, he became a sought-after collaborator within the genre, working with artists such as Snenaah, Xduppy, and Boontle RSA. His debut EP, Public Enemy, arrived in 2022, followed by production credits on hits including "Manzi," "Ebasini," "Nakupenda," and "What About 10 (Twalatsa)." Xapo also contributed to major releases like Tyler ICU's Secret Bounce (2024) and Benzoo's Escape Plan: New Heist (2026), which featured his biggest international hit, "Snokonoko."
