In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. An early music memory is regularly going to a blues club in Pasadena with my mom on Sunday nights when I was a young teen. We would sit right next to the bands. I would watch them play and basically be a sponge; soaking up ideas, style and soul. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Neil Young, After the Gold Rush Ronnie Lane's Slim Chance, Ronnie Lane's Slim Chance Vetiver, To Find Me Gone These albums have each come to me in special ways and always feel fresh. The timeless and artful songwriting on all three albums really sends my mind somewhere special. I met my wife because of a song on that Vetiver album! Tell us why you chose this song. “Color Called Green” This recording is special to me because it features the earliest lineup of the band. We recorded it at home and it has a fun, lo-fi feel and sound that I love. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The time my wife and long-time collaborator, Melissa Louise Castellano, and I went a West Coast tour backing up folk legend Kath Bloom in 2010. We had some wild and beautiful moments on that tour. I'll never forget it. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? One thing would be taking Breezers on tour to Europe.
