In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was a kid, much of my summer was spent in the pool with the radio cranked as loud as possible. "Like a G6" by Far East Movement came on, and I was stunned by how futuristic it sounded. It made me ask my dad how music was made, and that was it. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bon Iver, 22, A Million Shinsei Kamattechan, tanoshiine This list isn't quite complete, but these three albums represent extremely tight creative visions executed to the letter. They're loud, gritty, noisy, but they also have sensitivity and emotion. Nite Versions especially has a lot of depth for EDM. I don't remember making it at all, and I deleted the project file after I finished it- it was akin to bloodletting or maybe primal scream therapy. I was out of body. I think it shows. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Recently, I played a gig with Alaska Sargent and Shifting Perspectives at Bard College. My guitar broke, my amp wasn't cooperating with me, I couldn't tell if my mic was on- it was a mess, but we powered through. Everything is about resilience. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yeah. I need to release a debut album, which is probably going to take a while.
