In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is singing Shabbos Zemiros with my parents and feeling the warmth and spiritual uplift they brought to our Shabbos table. I especially loved learning harmonies from my mother and beginning to create them myself. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Mordechai Ben David, Moshiach אברהם פריד, Chazak! יעקב שוואקי, Yedid Avraham Fried and MBD taught me how to sing with genuine feeling and emotion. Yaakov Shwekey deeply influenced my singing style and helped bring Jewish music into the modern era, while Yossi Green’s genius has shaped Jewish music for over 40 years. Tell us why you chose this song. “40 Days” When I sang at Chuppas and weddings, I often felt a deep ache for friends, family, and all the singles still waiting to find their spouse. That inspired me to write “40 Days” as a song of hope, offering light through what can be a lonely journey. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Two moments stand out: singing “Shaarei Shomayim” with Simcha Leiner before 2,000 people, and performing “V’hi Sheamda” for 3,000 people at a deeply moving community memorial event. Both were unforgettable in very different ways. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Singing on the HASC concert stage remains one of my greatest dreams. It would be especially meaningful to me because I have a deep personal connection to HASC’s mission and the people it supports.
