In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of the earliest memories I have of music is when I went to Delta Fair. My grandfather and I drove there while listening to Brick House by The Commodores. It was the first time I remember vibing to a song that I knew word for word with someone. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Denzel Curry, Imperial Isaiah Rashad, Cilvia Demo Kendrick Lamar, good kid, m.A.A.d city I chose these albums because they represent the greatest influences of my own art. I want the music I make to be purposeful, impactful, and intimate. The impression these works left on me is as significant as the impression I want to make on others. Tell us why you chose this song. “REVENGE” This was the first song I wrote off my debut project and the first song I ever recorded in a studio. I treat it like the beginning of a wonderful musical journey I have embarked on. Without this song, Soni doesn't exist. I'm forever grateful for it. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments of my career so far was the Come to DMG concert that was hosted at the Carolina Watershed. This was the moment when I knew I was made for this. I'm always chasing the energy I felt that day. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have too many things left to do as an artist. Couldn't even tell you where to start, but I can tell you at this moment I don't see an end to that list. It's infinite.
