Natanzinho Lima

Natã Lima Nascimento (nicknamed Natanzinho) grew up under the spell of forró, piseiro, and brega, the region's foremost popular musical traditions. The unexpected success of a video of himself singing and playing made Lima reconsider his goal of becoming a truck driver and focus on music instead. Soon he traded his day job as a street vendor for performing local shows, alternating cover versions of popular hits with his own material. Lima started releasing singles in 2020 and when one year later he joined Teo Santana's management agency, his touring and recording schedule went into overdrive. While specializing in arrocha and piseiro romântico, Lima went on to perfect his fusion of northeastern genres over almost 30 live and studio albums in the next six-and-a-half years (as well as a comparatively scant 60 singles), including nine volumes of his popular De Bar En Bar series.
