About Sera Cahoone
A Seattle-based singer/songwriter whose poetic songs fall somewhere between alt-country, folk, and indie rock, Sera Cahoone got her start as a drummer, first for the slowcore band Carissa's Wierd, then its offshoot Band of Horses. When her first solo release was picked up by Sub Pop, she remained with the label for her next two albums, Only as the Day Is Long (2008) and Deer Creek Canyon (2012). Cahoone later launched her own imprint, Lady Muleskinner Records, and released 2017's understated From Where I Started, followed by a 2018 EP that reimagined several of her songs with a string section. An eight-year gap preceded Cahoone's next album, 2026's resilient I've Missed You All These Years.
