In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Growing up, I was 7 when I first played the piano. I still remember this first time and I really loved it. It was the first time I ever had to do with music as I dont come from a musical family or anything of the sort. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Erykah Badu, Live Miles Davis, Kind of Blue Radiohead, In Rainbows I just really love these albums. It was def hard to pick. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Self Defence” I think this song is really representative of my sound and what I bring to the table and it is one of my favourites to this day. It is an homage to old school hip hop and 90s R&B music.
