About Ed Cash

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was 3 years old in the bathtub and my dad was sitting on the john playing Johnny B. Goode on his 1961 Fender Jazzmaster. 12 years later my dad taught me how to play that song on that same guitar which is now in my studio. Man I miss him. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Michael Jackson, Off the Wall Paul Simon, Graceland Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life I have listened to these records too many times to count. There’s something about the way they engage every part of me - tapping into the depth of my being in a way that I really can’t describe. Music has the power to do that. God made it that way. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing Red Rocks was unreal. It was a clear day and we broke into “Holy Water” then it started pouring rain. For a moment we were bummed, then we realized it was just Heaven joining in. As soon as we finished, the rain stopped and the skies cleared. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I dream to make record with my heroes, especially the ones who played on my favorite albums. I also would love to travel the world and make music with people from different places and see where the Spirit leads. Maybe that’s the same album?
