THALA combines a sweet, wispy vocal delivery with '90s inspirations encapsulating dream pop, shoegaze, and grunge. The spacey atmospheres of her debut album, adolescence, materialized in 2021. She adopted a heavier, more dissonant palette in 2023 for the EPs In Theory Depression and twotwentytwo, then favored a more mature, textured indie rock dotted with sleeker pop on 2025's Avalanche, her heart-worn full-length debut.
