Turkish rapper Mavi writes confessional, grief-stricken lyrics, which are set to a melodic, atmospheric blend of trap and emo influences. He achieved fame with early singles like 2021's "Gözler" (with Cakal), then released his highly successful debut album VERITAS in 2022. He has since issued two more full-lengths, 2024's MONSIEUR and 2025's 2004, as well as singles like 2026's "KORK" (with his older brother, Defa).
