About Man Man
Philadelphia quartet Man Man's everything-but-the-kitchen-sink approach to rock uses guitars, vocals, keyboards, and drums, as well as toys, junk, “old shoes and stuffed frogs,” so comparisons to avant-garde skronk rockers such as Tom Waits and Frank Zappa (especially in the vocal department) go without saying. Since their 2004 debut, THE MAN IN THE BLUE TURBAN WITH A FACE, they have captured the attention of national touring acts such as Modest Mouse, and the face base that goes with them.
