In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember sitting by the piano with my grandad in Copenhagen while he was playing for me. My grandad would drive me to my dance lessons from the age of 3, and we'd sit in the car singing along to the radio. Music and dance was my escapism as a child What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bon Iver, i,i Dora Jar, No Way To Relax When You Are On Fire Maggie Rogers, Heard It in a Past Life These albums represent all of my favourite things about music: perfect balance of electronic music and organic instruments creating beautiful and emotive soundscapes, heart wrenching lyricism with brilliant songwriting. It's euphoria. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Peaches” Peaches was a fundamental song for me to write. On a personal level it was my first song about being a queer women. And as a songwriter it reminded me that music can be fun, emotive and purposeful all at the same time. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? So simple, but when I released my first song it felt like I could truly breath for the first time. It was like I finally could truly be my authentic self. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to be an albums artist. Tell story through music, and tour the world. I want to bring people together and create a safe space where people can be their authentic selves.
