Rondodasosa

As the hip-hop subgenre known as drill started its commercial peak in America in the early 2020s, one canny performer was interpreting it his own way for his native Italy: rapper Rondodasosa. He’s scored five Top Ten albums or EPs at home, including the chart-topping debut full-length Trenches Baby (2022) and the personal Mattia (2025) -- which he touts as the final album in his native tongue ahead of a planned move to break into the American hip-hop scene.
