Ado is a J-Pop artist who made a rapid ascent to the top of Japan's music charts with her 2020 debut single "Usseewa." Her full-length debut, Kyougen, fared even better, topping three different Japanese charts ahead of her star turn in the 2022 anime film One Piece Film: Red. The movie's theme song, "New Genesis," was another major hit. Ado stayed at the top with subsequent releases like 2024's Zanmu and the 2025 compilation album Ado's Best Adobum.
