About Marcos Boza

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first great memory was the spuntrack of Jaws, played on my father's stereo. Hundreds more soundtracks followed. In adolescence, Europe started my taste for hard rock, followed by Bon Jovi and Dream Theater. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dream Theater, Metropolis, Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory Europe, The Final Countdown John Williams, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (The 20th Anniversary) E.T. is the ultimate exponent of the music of my admired John Williams; you can't create anything more emotional. The Final Countdown woke me up to adolescence and rock. Dream Theater's third album, opened my mind to more complex music. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Tras la esencia” Evokes a path that travels in search of the most basic emotions, with a slightly off-key E note that appears and disappears throughout the theme, and a soft piano, repeated, as the constant will to discover what defines us, what moves us. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Having created the soundtrack for the play “A Bordo de la Victoria”, premiered at the Seville Aquarium Auditorium, is one of the projects I'm most proud of. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I currently collaborate with guitarist Maneli Jamal in his minimalist piano project Astrid Sky, or with cellist Eva Brönner, although in 2023 there will be many more wonderful musicians with whom I will share the creative process.
