Banda Los Reales

Proudly hailing from the south-central state of Morelos, Banda Los Reales began performing in the early 2010s as a norteño outfit, only to gradually extend its range and lineup. A local attraction for most of its first decade, the band's fortunes started to change in 2018 when they rejuvenated their traditional sound by adding several new instruments such as trumpets and tambora, embracing genres such as banda, huapango, and cumbia in the process. A typically prolific act, it is not uncommon for the band to release two or three live and studio albums per year, with the series of live albums Concierto Virtual (four installments between 2022 and 2025) proving the most popular.
