About Tita

Tita is the alter ego of Mariana Moreno, a Latin indie pop singer and songwriter from Guatemala. Todo Es Mental, her 2020 debut EP for U.S. label Cosmica Artists introduced her eclectic, genre-hopping mix of indie rock, hip hop, electronica, and alternative tropical sounds. Not exactly prolific, Tita averaged one or two singles a year, several of these collected on her 25-minute, eight-track album Mundo Cruel, from 2022. That same year saw her highest-profile credit to date when producer Adrian Quesada (Black Pumas) asked Tita to sing a cover of Jeanette's "El Muchacho De Los Ojos Tristes" for his acclaimed Boleros Psicodélicos album, which led to an invitation to the Austin City Limits Festival. The following year Tita performed at South by Southwest (SXSW) and released the single "Saturno."
