In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My mom thought MTV was bad, but I was allowed to watch it at my grandparents'. One day I saw Stay On These Roads (A-ha), I was struck by how cool these guys looked and at the same time how the video fitted perfectly the melancholy of the music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Massive Attack, Mezzanine Nirvana, MTV Unplugged In New York (Live Acoustic) Tricky, Maxinquaye Mezzanine and Maxinquaye's triphop opened my eyes to electronic music, before I was almost exclusively into indierock. And apart from the great songs and voice, with the Nirvana-album I discovered the use of cello in popular music. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Been Thinking About You” It's the 1st song of the forthcoming album that I finished and was happy with the way I got it to sound: this mixture between acoustic instruments (piano), an acoustic or electric guitar and female vocals, all embedded in a more trip-hoppy vibe. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? It's everytime I receive a comment or text on my socials (Facebook, IG) from somebody who has listened and just tells me how much they liked it. It makes me feel very grateful. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Reaching more listeners and also maybe getting to sing Nina Persson (The Cardigans) on one of my songs.
