About Jorge Emmanuel

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. From childhood, I dreamed of singing like the kids I saw on TV. Influenced by Intocable, El Recodo, Joan Sebastian and Zelda soundtracks, I debuted in fifth grade with “Mi Burrito Sabanero” and later formed my first band, shaped by pop and rock. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Daniel Welch, Koji Kondo, Majora's Mask Joan Sebastian, Secreto de Amor Jonas Brothers, Jonas Brothers I chose these three albums because each marks a key stage in my musical journey. One taught me melody, another shaped my songwriting, and the third defines the sound I pursue today. They are tied to strong memories from my childhood and teenage years Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Rima” This song has been with me my whole life, and I hold it very close to my heart. It feels like a musical home—familiar and comforting. It shaped my taste and guided my first steps as an artist, reminding me why I make music. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I debuted in 2018 with “En Ilusión,” now re-recorded. After projects like Green Fire and Novedad Sierreña, I became a solo artist. I’ve grown organically on social media and, after exploring many styles, I now define my sound as sierreñopop. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My goal is to position the project, grow my audience, and build a community. In the medium term, I want to bring my music to more stages and be remembered for an authentic and positive message.
