Manuel Rodriguez

Manuel Rodríguez is a Mexican regional singer and songwriter who went viral in 2019 with his first official single, "Me Gusta Mi Vida," also featuring Joan y Su Elite. The song caused a splash with his mixture of rap, corridos, and typically boastful lyrics. Having dubbed his style "rap-teño," Rodríguez went on to exploit the formula for all it was worth, achieving another sizable hit in 2020 with "El Black" and a minor one in 2022 with "La Suelita Roja." Between 2020 and 2025 he released 15 studio albums, nine of those in 2025 alone, plus more than 140 singles, including several new versions of "Me Gusta Mi Vida."
