About Robbie Mortimer

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. “Standing on a table as a kid with my toy guitar, singing along to Garth Brooks in front of my family. I’d close my eyes and pretend I was singing to thousands. I think that’s when I knew this is what I was meant to do for the rest of my life.” What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Matchbox Twenty, Yourself or Someone Like You Morgan Wallen, Dangerous: The Double Album Robbie Mortimer, 200 Years Too Late “Dangerous, the stories of wild country boys, love & heartbreak. Yourself or Someone Like You for the real, raw, and relatable songs. And 200 Years Too Late? is a snapshot of my life a record that captured exactly who I was at that point in time. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Doin' Time” It is songwriting in its purest form. It is the most vulnerable I have ever been in creating art. It's about falling so deeply in love, you're forever Doin Time within the four walls of your heart. I will always treasure this song What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Singing songs I wrote in my small home town to thousands of screaming fans at a sold out Professional Bull Rider’s (PBR) event in Brisbane. Also writing a song with Wyatt Durette in Nashville – a man who wrote much of the soundtrack to my life. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I just want to write better, sing better, play better, meet more people, live to the full and love life. And tour the world with my band!
