With her dark, dramatic art pop, Fashion Club's Pascal Stevenson challenges hypocrisy and authenticity on personal and societal levels. A vital part of the Los Angeles indie music community, she didn't think of herself as a frontperson until a period of intense introspection led her to write the songs that became her unflinchingly honest 2022 debut album Scrutiny. Stevenson broke her music wide open on 2024's A Love You Cannot Shake, adding classical, industrial, and electronic elements into the broader worldview of her songs.
