Brandon Acker

Brandon Acker is a specialist in historical plucked string instruments, whose work ranges from the classical guitar to the lute, Baroque guitar, and theorbo. His career combines performance, recording, and musical outreach, notably through a variety of online educational projects. Released in 2025, his album Solitude, recorded with countertenor Reginald Mobley and viola da gamba player Doug Balliett, reflects his interest in 17th and 18th century repertoire as well as collaborative approaches to early music.
